***Toolbar***
We have released our own BUXP toolbar! It can be downloaded & activated via http://buxp.org/toolbar.php . Currently the toolbar supports Firefox and Internet Explorer. As you will notice, you will have live ad status updates, showing you when new ads are available. You can check your balance, hot offers, useful BUXP links etc via the toolbar! Please give your feedback on the thread made in our forum!

There is another way to get referrals. By completing Surveys (Click the "Browse Surveys" tab in the BUXP Menu), you can earn Survey Points and exchange them into referrals, advertising, premium etc... We have automated the earning and request reward system, to make everything more easily for you! Check it out on http://buxp.org/survey.php We have users who earned more than 100 referrals via our Survey system!

***Traffic Exchange***
We have released our first version of our own traffic exchange script! It is an easy way to get extra free traffic to your websites. You can access the traffic exchange via the "Earn Money" tab.

***Upgrade your referral***
Members can already donate to their referrals, but now we have added the option for premium members to upgrade their referral as a bonus reward they want to give to a specific referral. This can be done via the "My Referrals"

Update: We are moving to a new server company with advanced DDOS protection. Everything should be fine within a few hours. We will launch a major compensation plan for our members once everything is ok again!

It has been an exhausting day for us... After completing the final server move, making the site run very smoothly, at around 6PM GMT our server got hit with very large DDOS attacks. We had our whole team working on finetuning the new server to weaken these attacks, but they kept on coming. In the screenshot below you can see the normal memory usage at the start and the peaks in memory usage during the attacks. The amount of connections was quite high also.

We have taken measures to attempt and prevent these attacks in the future. One of the measures is that we have activated our DDOS protection package again (we had this before but because it blocks a small percentage of users that do not harm the site, we disabled it since the attacks of March stopped).

We are doing everything in our power to keep the site running smoothly. We will grant each premium member 2 extra days of premium membership to compensate for todays downtime.

I will use this post also to announce that we will launch a new earning possibility with referral earnings soon, and we will offer referral earnings for video views (this is not enabled now, but the beta testing phase of our video ads page is completed soon).
